MOLINA FLYNN LAW OFFICES
Joseph Molina Flynn founded his practice in 2015. He currently handles Immigration, Family, and Criminal matters. These three areas of law have been the focus of Joseph’s legal career beginning with his time in law school. He often works with other practitioners as a “crimmigration” consultant.
Joseph was born in Medellin, Colombia, and first came to the United States on a tourist visa at the age of nine. He remained and lived in the United States as an undocumented immigrant for fifteen years prior to obtaining his lawful permanent resident status and then his citizenship. After obtaining his residence, Joseph attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor.
In January 2021, he was appointed as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Central Falls becoming the first gay person to hold that seat and the first formerly undocumented Judge in Rhode Island. He is also an adjunct professor at the Roger Williams University Law School currently teaching “Crimmigration.”
